In theory it is not able to slide off the dashboard. Unless of course you clean your dashboard and use 303 protectant and turn the corner at a faster than normal speed. won't stay on the dash then. Luckily my wife caught it. overall, great product and provides us w/ some ability to remove the nuvi from prying eyes. we even locked in the glove once. recommend for those who don't want to leave their pricely GPS stuck the windshield.
